S.E.L.O.U.T.

After my book on David Tudor, Reminded by the Instruments, was published in March 2021, many Tudor-related events have been sprouting all around the world. In July 2021, the first retrospective of his music was presented at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg, Austria, which was followed by a series of international presentations organized by the National Design Institute in Ahmedabad, focusing, among other things, on Tudor's visit to the same institute in 1969 to set up the first electronic music studio in India. In July 2022, a 10-day festival of Tudor's music is going to be held in Berlin, and there are plans for setting a David Tudor Lab in Istanbul, Turkey. It feels like a rennaissance of sorts.
